Why am I here?
It is no coincidence that in an age where intellect is praised more than ever and all solutions are sought in knowledge; psychological problems and diseases increase more than ever as well.
It seems that we have been dragged into a serious imbalance.
The irony is that instead of focusing on the blind spot that drives us to this imbalance, we continue to search tirelessly for the answers we need, where we will never find them. Like the man who has lost his keys in the dark, but looks for it in another place just because it is light.
I want to talk it through the story of the masculine and the feminine.
On one side, the masculine energy representing power, will, action, mind and intellect with all its majesty; on the other side, the feminine energy representing love, relationality, surrender, emotion and body with all its grace.
Although men are the physical expression of the masculine, women and nature the feminine, these two opposing forces are present within each of us. Therefore, both masculine and feminine mentioned here concern both men and women.
We are trying to reach an area beyond our control without giving up control; that’s why we don’t get along well with the elements representing femininity.
It’s almost as if the feminine has sworn to blow our minds and make us lose control. The masculine, who perceives this as a threat since he doesn’t want to lose power and control, also seems as if he has sworn to destroy the feminine by increasing his pressure on her.
Feminine: Why can't we live in peace when we need each other so badly? Why do I have to give up on myself to keep our relationship going?
Masculine: I lose my strength when I get caught up in my emotions; it's like death to me. I prefer to ignore my emotional needs.
Feminine: You leave me no choice but to play to your weaknesses. I can understand why this scares you even more because ignoring your emotional needs increases your vulnerability. Don’t you understand? You're losing your power EXACTLY by ignoring me.
As not being understood, the feminine tries to express herself even more violently and uncontrollably each time; and the battle between them is getting more and more fierce.
In this age, where intellect and its product -technological developments- are increasing rapidly, the feminine power and therefore our lives are unfortunately in great danger.
The most dangerous part is that the masculine, with all his arrogance, thinks he can exist independently of the feminine. We shoot ourselves in the foot and unwittingly leave ourselves to a slow death. We are in need of a tiny drop of water, but we continue this war at any cost.
The task of humanity in this age is to turn this war between the masculine and the feminine into a dance.
For this, we must first end the war within ourselves and be able to live our truth without being ashamed of any part of us. Only then can we hold space for others in a right way to do the same and ultimately end the war in society. As long as our motivation is to cut, shape and control the feminine, we contribute to the war.
Meanwhile, we are absolutely right in not wanting to lose our power. We die if we lose our power, and we die if we ignore our relational needs based on emotional attachment. The critical thing is, how do we live without having to give up on one or the other?
I know it will be easy to say, but the only way is to rise to Reason by understanding the limitation of the mind. To take responsibility for our own feelings and actions. To draw healthy boundaries. To transform pain.
So that, we stop confusing control with power and addiction with love. We let knowledge to hold the hand of wisdom and we allow the opposites to exist in harmony under the umbrella of Reason like the birds dancing in the sky.
This is the path to individuation and it is a personal responsibility to take.
I know how a hard reality this is for all of us, but; we can only save ourselves. Neither a guru nor messiah, nor a religious man, nor our parents, nor a soul mate, nor “aliens”, nor any technological development.
Only from within can we be permanently healed and be a mediator for goodness; not by outside interference.
If you are determined to take this responsibility and save yourself, I am ready to hold space for you to do so.
Welcome.
